Hi! My name is Gavriel Forman.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker providing therapy for adolescents and adults in Bet Shemesh and throughout Israel via telehealth. I work primarily with young adult men navigating anxiety, perfectionism, overthinking, relationship struggles, and major life transitions — especially during periods such as yeshiva, dating, and early marriage.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Yeshiva University Wurzweiler School of Social Work and my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Touro University. I also completed semichah studies at Touro's Beis Medrash L'Talmud in Queens, NY.
Over the years, I've worked in a variety of clinical settings including schools, private practice, and inpatient addiction rehabilitation, helping people navigate anxiety, emotional overwhelm, self-criticism, adjustment challenges, and the impacts of difficult life experiences.
My approach is grounded primarily in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, alongside Mindfulness, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema-informed work. Rather than trying to eliminate difficult emotions or "fix" parts of yourself, therapy becomes an opportunity to better understand the inner patterns that keep you feeling stuck, anxious, disconnected, or at war with yourself.
Many of the people I work with are highly thoughtful and self-aware, yet still find themselves trapped in cycles of pressure, doubt, and overthinking. Together, we work toward developing a steadier, more compassionate relationship with yourself — one that allows for greater presence, clarity, confidence, and connection in daily life.
My goal is to create a space that feels warm, grounded, and genuine: a place where you don't need to perform, have everything figured out, or face things alone.
