What is Therapy? Therapy is a space where you can explore the different parts of yourself with curiosity and compassion. Whether you're feeling caught in waves of anxiety, perfectionism, or old patterns that no longer serve you, therapy offers a path back to your authentic self. Together, we'll create a warm environment where you can discover that beneath the surface turbulence, you already have the wisdom and strength needed for healing and growth. It's not about fixing what's wrong with you—it's about uncovering who you really are underneath all the noise.
What Can I Expect in Our Sessions? Using Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy combined with mindfulness principles, we'll explore your experiences with kindness rather than judgment. That anxious part that keeps you up at night? The perfectionist part that never feels satisfied? We'll get to know these parts, understand what they're trying to protect, and help them learn to trust your core self to lead. This isn't about eliminating difficult emotions—it's about developing a healthier relationship with them so you can navigate life's challenges with greater presence and self-compassion.
Session Frequency Weekly sessions create the consistency needed for meaningful change and deeper self-discovery. This regular rhythm allows us to build trust, explore patterns, and develop new ways of relating to yourself and others. Research shows that consistency plays a key role in the healing process. We'll typically meet weekly, though we can adjust this as your needs evolve throughout our work together.
Length of Treatment Every person's journey is unique. Some find relief and new perspectives in a few months, while others benefit from longer-term exploration and growth. The timeline depends on your goals, the issues you're addressing, and how deeply you want to explore. We'll discuss your hopes for our work during our first session and revisit this as you discover more about yourself along the way.
Scheduling & Cancellations By the end of our first session, we'll establish a regular weekly time that works for both of us. Consistency supports the therapeutic process, so I'll do my best to maintain a stable schedule. You can cancel without charge up to 24 hours in advance. Cancellations within 24 hours will incur the session fee. (If our session follows Shabbos or Yom Tov, please let me know by noon on Erev Shabbos/Yom Tov.) I'll work to reschedule when possible, though alternative times can't always be guaranteed.
Fees & Payment I accept payments in ILS via cash or bank transfer, and USD payments through U.S. credit card or Zelle. I understand that financial circumstances vary and offer a limited number of reduced-rate slots based on need—please feel free to inquire. A credit card will be kept on file for potential cancellation fees, which we'll discuss in our first session. We'll find a payment arrangement that feels comfortable for you.
In-Person vs. Telehealth Sessions I offer both in-person sessions at my practice in Bet Shemesh and telehealth sessions throughout Israel. Both formats provide the same quality of care and therapeutic connection. In-person sessions offer the traditional therapy experience in a comfortable, private setting. Telehealth sessions provide convenience and accessibility from your own space, which many clients find particularly helpful for maintaining consistency in their therapy routine. We can discuss which option feels right for you, and you're welcome to switch between formats as your needs change. The most important thing is creating a space where you feel comfortable exploring and growing.
